Melissa Ligure
Research Assistant, TIMSS and PIRLS

Melissa joined the TIMSS & PIRLS International Study Center in October 2024 as a Research Assistant. She supports survey operations, quality assurance, and digital assessment systems, and occasionally contributes to TIMSS assessment development, drawing on her mathematics background.

Before joining the center, Melissa taught at an afterschool mathematics enrichment program and held various instructional and administrative roles. She holds a BS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
